Me too,I try to not use a flash when at all possible.Of course with a crappy P&S it's a crap shoot,dang I wish I still had my Nikon D50 and constant f2.8 lenseswall1.

Hey Josh,don't know if you noticed,but I posted a picture of my new BLI C&NW SD40-2 so I'm thinking I'm ready to let go of my C&NW 8-40C.If you want it let me know,I'll take $45+shipping for it.

Nice work by the way Josh:thumb:.I only have one piece of C&NW freight at the moment and I'll try to post a picture of it sometime.

I also have a new BN engine on the way,it's a Kato Mid-Production SD40-2.I'll post a picture of it in the BNSF thread when I get it.I think you'll approve:thumb:.

Thanks Lynn!! Yup Mikey's rite, thats all natural indoor lighting (well the window is just to the left lol) but that is not the flash. I try not to use the flash whenever possible :mrgreen:

Yeah I member you posting a pic of the CNW Dash 8-40C earlyer in this thread and I said that I might want to take it off your hands for you :mrgreen: :thumb:. Well I want it for sure lol but can you give me about a week or so on it? I gonna have my dad get it for me for my b-day coming up lol.

Sweet, Katos are AWESOME and those SD40-2's look so cool and detailed + it is in BN paint which makes it all the more better (sorry Deano) lol. Member Deano, I model Union Pacific, Chicago North Western, Burlington Northern, and Burlington Northern Santa Fe :D tooth1 ;)

The picture of the SD40-2 is in this thread also so check it out if you haven't already.

I'm really excited about the Kato,for a few reasons.1)It's a Kato.. 2)Everything is preassembled,a Godsend for me:mrgreen:..3)While I've never been a huge fan of the BN livery,I love the White face and the BN Herald on the front..and 4)Great detail and it has working alternating ditch lights that can be changed on the fly in DC or DCC.

Well I'm with Josh,I like the UP,but the BNSF is higher on my list then UP.I really like the C&NW though:thumb:.

Sorry for contaminating your UP thread with mention of the BN/BNSF Deano,I'l try to keep that out of here from now on!sign1

ah foohey i hate the fact that i am missing the longest loco ive ever owned:cry:

also i dont like Horribly Oversized scale(well actually im just jealous that Normal scale [aka AWESOMILY SMALL SCALE:D } doesnt have as much items out there in Union Pacific Colors.
oh well ill just have to wait:roll:

nscaler711:wav: , there was a time when I was into N scale:eeki: :winki: . i have quite a few REALLY NEAT N scale UP engines:thumb: . they are out there, just takes some looking to find them:winki: . i STILL have them ALL:thumb: , some are packed away in boxes at my dads house, and some are here at my house:winki: . some of the ones i really liked was my SD90/43MAC, U50B, Veranda turbine, FM H16-44, SD40-2's, and i even attempted to kitbash a "Big Blow"(3 unit turbine set:mrgreen: ), i finished it, but wasn't terribly happy with it, i think i could have done better:oops: .

my dad and i had an N scale "empire" at his house a few years ago:thumb: , it was 95% COMPLETE....then we decided to go back to HO:toug: .

ANYWAYS, don't give up hope on AWESOME N scale UP engines, like i said, they ARE THERE...you just have to find them:winki: .

Btw love SD90/43MAC's cant have one though too expensive and to long for my 3x5 table (its in inches!!!)

Cheepers! That locos' done lots of work! and hasn't had time to get a bath!! I wonder what it would cost the UP- or any railway for that matter- to keep their fleet of locos squeeky clean?
