Since this is more of a modeling board, I thought I'd share this photo with y'all. This is K660, a Chicago to Maryland John Deere unit train. On this particular day, it is carrying about thirty harvesters and a dozen excavators. It's shown here departing Cumberland on March 23, 2003.

Even though, as you say, this board is largely for modelers, I hope that by our posting of prototype equipment, we are giving the modelers a view that might be just the detail they need to make a good layout even better.
