I decided to scratch build out the computer cabinet. I made the monitor a "LCD"/plasma flat screen monitor. I made the keyboard double thickness. I also built the CPU.

I raised the frame work around the cabinet.

Hold up a minute there Tex. The colonial fleet would never have a computer to maintain anything. Remember what happened in the pilot episode of the 2004 series?

Yes, it says "FRAK ME". This was done based on a suggestion from my son. :sticktongue:

These small updates are absolutely fantastic!! You're working in such a small scale, and making "everyday" objects one would expect to see, which makes your diorama complete, and pleasing to the eye. The reasons why will go over the heads of the uninitiated. The rest of us in in awe. :)

@bigpetr Yes, the figures will all be made out of paper. The figures that I will be using were designed by @Tirick, that I repainted (with his permission). Tirick's models can be found here: http://tcfgaming.com/ The BSG and Buck Rogers figures, were the ones that I repainted. The good thing is, @Tirick has created different hair colours and skin tones for the figures. So, you can make figures with different ethnicities, and my repaints are primarily of just the uniforms and accessories. Thus, you can make figures of "whomever" you wish.

@zathros Thank you very much. This is something that I have always enjoyed doing. Making small scale objects, is a good challenge for me to keep up and improve my skills. Not only that, but I find model building to be very therapeutic in many ways. However, I have found myself falling into a zone where everything around me "vanishes" and I (sometimes) lose track of time. So, a few intended minutes of building windsup being quite a few hours of building, and both my kids and fiance have to remind me that I have "Real-life" things that I have to attend to.

Awesome build! To say its all in the details is to put it mildly! I've seen photos of studio models from Star Wars and the original Battlestar Galactica and they have nothing on this build. Great work!
