More work on what looks more and more like the U Boat model of our dreams, remember the last submarine UHU02 gave us was the Proteus!

he does some awsome work... and I know there are some is a Disney Nautalus out there but I could only imagine what he could with that model!!!

UHU02's U Boat build continues to look amazing. There is a lot of things I would like to see UHU02 make, the Nautilus from 20000 Leagues Under the Sea would be great but how about the Argo from Jason and the Argonauts or a Trireme from Troy. There has been talk of the Cygnus from the Blackhole movie!

Work starts on the Coning Tower
The bulk of the film's $15 million budget was spent on constructing U-boats. Specifications for the original Type VII-C U-boat were found at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. The plans were taken to the original builder of the subs, who was commissioned to build a full-sized, sea-going replica, their first such assignment since the war ended. A second full-sized model was built for interior filming.
