Hi,

Last days I spent making small details. You can see them on following pictures.
Turret and main gun:

Front pontoons:

Back pontoon:

Upper hull:

Propellers(?) and silencer:

And finally a few shots for whole model:

Still a few small parts I have to do.

Welcome back.

Last weeks I spent making tracks. I finished. I made 200 single tracks but finally I used "only" 194. I started cutting holes.

Next, I cut and formed single tracks, glue booth sides and track profile:

Next I cut holes using small tools what I made from nails. I made rest of track's elements but I connect only combs to the tracks.

The single tracks I connect to a box using Scotch tape and I painted one side of them using ModelMaster Gun Metal paint. When paint dried I removed the tracks and connect track's tooth. I connected again the tracks to the box and painted the second side of them.

Hi,

I finished the tracks off. At the beginning I put the blend of pigments and I strengthened those fixers to pigments. When pigments dried the color changed, a nice color of dark rust came out. From the side of wheels with pencil I wiped the track which wheels are leaving behind. From the other side I wiped combs with steel paint (dry brush):

Now tracks are waiting for the final assembly.

Still small messing and there will be an end.

Mind boggling, and one of the cleanest builds I've ever seen.

Giving this a well deserved Model Of The Week spot on the front page! :thumb:
