Two broke locomotives within two hours in 1 day!

What a day yesterday! I have 2 broke locomotives!:cry: :cry: I have an EMD F8 Life Like locomotive. That locomotive picked up a loose piece of ballast and broke a gear tooth off!:cry:

Next one is my Con-Cor steam locomotive. The motor went out. :cry: :cry:

Does any of these companies fixies the? Do any Gauge members fixes them? Is it cost effective?

I gave up modelling last night and went to watch a movie instead. What can I do?

I have really good experience about Life-Like and theis service but Con-Cor I don´t know about.

You should be able to get parts for your Life-Like no problem. As for the Con-Cor, there is a guy on FeEBay that remotors them with a can motor for a good price. Other then that, you'll have to find a junker or talk to the guys at www.nwsl.com about a how-to on remotoring projects done in the past using their products, they have quite an archives on that.
