Hi, fans!

Having successfully finished my little Lego Cylon Centurion from the classic Battlestar Galactica I was asked on several occasions if and when I would tackle the next character in the famous Lego-style. Well, I had been playing around with the idea to make another of these cute fellows for quite some time, but I simply didn't know which one to choose - until now.

Since kevlary has started one of the greatest and most challenging projects in the forum (creating a life-size Twiki figure) and the creative input of our admin Rhaven I decided to make a Lego-style Twiki figure.

The whole project is based on the Lego Cylon to maintain consistency and to make things easier. The new components such as the helmet, the back pack and the (removable) Dr Theopolis will be made from scratch.

And here comes the first WIP picture, freshly rendered by SketchUp.

Don't worry, my friend, I'll be dedicating the Doctor (= Theo) to you, since it is safer to have one standing by.... Just in case!:mrgreen::mrgreen:

(To RB: We should definitely avoid making a life-size Wilma figure in order not to kill off one of our members by accident; or we'll have to work on it in secrecy! sign1 )

I used to watch it all the time when iwa a child too,so thats where my creative inspiration first began hahhah!!!

There was a German version on the Disney channel ("Disney's Art Attack"). Really great activities and fun for everyone. The range and variety of creative ideas was amazing. :thumb:

I never knew that , i liked the fact that he could produce some good outdoor visuals, with general household itmes and arange them in a grass field to produce a picture.

Tony heart was another, he was a great, fine artist , i used too like watching morph and chaz , made me laugh all the time

YES, that were the most fun parts of the show! The lying big picture ideas were awesome and always had the most stunning results and effects. :thumb::thumb::thumb:

Alright, here we go again! After a looooong break this project is continued and lil' Twiki has got a face! :)

And here comes the first WIP pic of Dr Theopolis:

Theo's graphics are created in CorelDRAW based on a close-up of the real prop. As you can see the template is highly detailed because I'll be re-using it later to make a life-size replica. The colours need to be adjusted a bit.

Small progress on Theo:

The close-up of Twiki's face reminded me of something...
