What is the best way to lubricate turnout throwbars to make them as slippery as possible?

You might want to move this post to the Technical Q & A forum to get more response. This forum is used to discuss operating a model railroad in a prototypical manner, so you may not get much traffic here.

I lube turnouts with a drop of plastic compatible LaBelle oil at each pivot point. When I ballast track, I put a little oil anywhere the points(moveable parts) slide so that ballast won't be glued to interfere with operation. I also use the oil anywhere I don't want ballast glue to stick.
