I got the job of repainting the club's trainmaster in CN colors:

I used Model master medium green on the engine , black on the walkways and the rest are decals. I also did a light overspray of grimy black on the trucks. Since I took this pic I weathered it a bit using black chalk to bring out the fans and grills.

Canada, eh?
Nice work,Glen. CNR's green and gold is one of my favourite paint schemes. It's too bad that the prototype didn't last long enough to make it to the zebra stripes which, in my opinion, is a paint scheme that would look good on any diesel, modern GEs and GMDs included.

Thanks Ralph and Wayne, The older CN Green/gold is one of my favs as well. I get a fair amount of practice since the Blackwater Sub is set in 1958-59. This Trainmaster Represents the one unit the the CNR had it was renumbered once, leading some to think that CN had two. It's currently at another modelers house now, getting directional lighting installed, something that isn't one of my strong suits.

Again: Nicely done Glen

The Blackwater Sub is a club layout, right? Do they have a website?
