Tiny 1/200 Viper Mk II from new BSG

Indeed it is a nice looking model. How did you get the plank to fit over the box on the underside, or should I say how did you get the box to fit flush with the underside of the model. I'm sure you have noticed you're the only one to show the underside of their model. Those wings look as though you folded them, where'as I pasted them onto thick card. It was much easier that way, well easier for my old eyes and not so flexible fingers.

You name it, that's definately the difficult part of the model... the problem is that the parts intersect in the 3D model, so I cut out the intersecting areas. I was thinking about glueing the wings to thick card too, but then I figured I am not planning to use it as a toy (at least not most of the time ;) ), so it wouldn't have to be incredibly sturdy, plus I was to lazy to look for some card... :D
Since there were no flaps left after the trimming (almost forgot, there were none before trimming either...) I attached the wings, the guns, the fin and the engine housings with super glue. I'm lucky the viper didn't end up stuck to my fingers ;)

Btw. I hadn't noticed nobody showed the underside of their models... but now that you say it, funny :cool:
 
And here is mine :-) I have bigger plan with this model , so give me two days :twisted: (maybe)

I was going to ask why you put a piano and a plate of sandwiches in :twisted: but then I looked closer. Nice little diorama wedge well dowe.
