Hi, it's been a while since I posted, so here I am to show you a new little known model.

It is nothing more and nothing less than the model of the tie rapotor, this model of tie only appears in the novels, and it was hard for me to find its papercraft.

prints it on A4 sheet of 180 grams cardboard type



I started with the part of the model's cabin, this is the one that requires the most work since it is the one that has the most doubles to do.
As you can see, I had an error when cutting, so I added separate tabs.
this is necessary to be able to close the model, even though those tabs are not in the original model.



when making the sphere you have to be careful and patient so that it fits as in the photos




Follow the cut with the windshield of the ship which we must put tabs to glue the parts.
and the back part we removed the tabs.



first we glue the windshield and then the rear have patience to do it





well I leave this lining here tomorrow I will continue so you can enjoy the model

I checked the specs from the raptor and I can use the UHU sphere. I only need to build a wing. hhhmm its tempting....

I can't tell the difference between these things, but you did a realyl nice job on that sphere. If you could find the right size ball, you could dampen that with water, and form it into a sphere, it would have to be Pigment Ink, as Dye inks runs when wet.

THIS MODEL IN THE PDO IS 15X15 AND I TURNED IT TO 10X10 SO THAT IT WOULD FIT THE TWO SHEETS THAT I HAD REMAINING.
I'M SAYING THIS FOR WHEN YOU ASSEMBLE IT, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE CONFUSED OR LOST BECAUSE IT DOES NOT REMEMBER THE SIZE OF THIS POST.


We continue with the pairs of the wing support, these pieces are small so be careful where you leave them so they do not get lost.
we also built two hexagonal pieces that go to the sides of the ship




after placing the wing supports and the two hexagonal pieces we continue with the ion engine
and also with the sensor assembly of the ship





tomorrow he will continue with the parts of the turbolasers and the two missile launchers, they are parts that take time due to the fact that they are made up of several small pieces

I have to wholeheartedly agree with my friend. Even though it is a very simple model, there is indeed quite a bit of greebling potential!
