i am REAL BIG on sound, and Prodigy Advance has 19 different buttons you can program different sound and lighting effects into:thumb:. the NEW Prodigy Advance 2 gives you the capabilities of 28 DIFFERENT lighting and sound options!
.
its EASY to operate, EASY to program, and does EVERYTHING i want to do with the layout:thumb:. i am able to program engines AND CV's on the fly!:thumb: boosters and wireless handhelds ARE NOW available for this system, if you want them. i have run 5 sound equipped engines at the same time with NO BOOSTERS:thumb:, might be able to run more, just haven't triedtooth1. i have NO COMPLAINTS WITH THIS SYSTEM!:thumb:
HOWEVER, if you plan on doing computer interface, this IS NOT the system for you. and i use hand throw switches, not sure if this system will run electric switches
ops:.
those are MY THOUGHTS on the Prodigy Advance system, i hope "others" will respond to this thread with there thoughts:thumb:.
THANKS!, for letting me know about the turnouts:thumb:. as i mentioned, i use hand throws, so i wasn't sure. i hope your as happy with your Prodigy Advance, as i am with mineplaneshavings42 said:Hello, I did some checking, and MRC Advanced will operate turnouts, I have mine on order, and should have it by Friday.
