Hello, my friends!
Here are the first news on the ongoing Raptor project.
A small mishap occured while preparing the plans: Parts 12 & 13 have too many glue tabs. The four tabs where 12 & 13 are attached to part 11 are obsolete and can be cut off. Many thanks to Rhaven Blaack for spotting this! I have added a special note to the assembly instructions and ask you to download them again so that you have the latest version in your archive. (pic #1)
Add-on #1 is coming: A flight display stand for the Raptor. So you'll be able to display your model in flight mode. (pic #2)
RB made an excellent build of the medEVAC Raptor which can be found here:

This variant looks even better than the standard version. However, I noticed that the red part of the fins is a bit too short. I've prepared a patch which you can grab from the BSG download section. Just use the new parts on that sheet or glue the revised faces over the existing structure if you have already built this bird.

Thanks! But be aware, they are not tested and could be a bit too big. Juts roll it together and cut them to shape if necessary.

The stand for the Raptor is ready. It will be available in three different colours, gold, black and starry sky. I'll submit it when the instructions are ready. In the attachments you see the golden stand. Enjoy!

As some of you might know Rhaven and I are preparing a "parking lot"mrgreen for the Raptor and Ninjatoes excellent Mk. II.
All we need now would be a new unfold of the Mk. VII. I've noticed that the proportions and the tail section of the CG model from the ship pack team are flawed. :cry:
I've revised the model and will give you a new model soon. Stay tuned!

Patch for raptors
I'm getting ready to start the Raptor project and I want to do it right, I see from the downloads section that there are patches available for the Green Raptor and the MediVac Raptor. Is there a patch needed for the Desert Raptor?
I'm getting ready to start the Raptor project and I want to do it right, I see from the downloads section that there are patches available for the Green Raptor and the MediVac Raptor. Is there a patch needed for the Desert Raptor?
The patches for the Green Raptor and the MedEvac Raptor are needed for the paint scheme of the tail.
The Desert and Gray Raptors do not have the same paint scheme and do not need the patch.
You will however need the engine former patch though.
