If it involves defacing the property of others, it isn't art - it's vandalism. As proof, offer to go by a tagger's house and decorate to your satisfaction.![]()
Mikey,I heard at the club a tagger got nailed in the act down around Columbus area.He was trespassing and a Security Guard called the Police.
I may model 2006 with my Huron River Ry but,I don't model the graffiti.
Some modelers even add this to their cars. I'll pass. I will stay with modeling the early fifties so i won't need this stuff.

Here's a better idea...Place a tagger, can of spray paint clutched firmly in hand, being run down by a graffiti-tagged boxcar.
Works for me.

Exactly. These taggers should stick to their own property. Where I work, we had a few tags. Management cleaned it off very quickly but it was quite costly.
Another thing about tagging. I find that in the case of buildings, when the taggers visit, it's just a matter of time before the other vandals come and then eventually the arsonists.
Here is an idea - we have the tagger select what he regards as his best work, size it properly and tattoo him with it over his entire body. A man should be willing to be fully identified with his work.![]()
Well, sometimes railroad workers use spray cans on cars so that they can just identify cars by their number or which ones are to be junked, would that be considered vandalism?![]()
If they were told to do that by their supervisor and the supervisor had permission from the owners of the cars, no. That's part of the job.Well, sometimes railroad workers use spray cans on cars so that they can just identify cars by their number or which ones are to be junked, would that be considered vandalism?![]()
