Thanks for those last photos Dan, it just happens that I am working on that section and it helped in getting it together. The only difference, is that mine has raised panels and recessed gauges and a few more enhanced details. I will start posting soon as I have a bunch of photos or almost half way done. keep up the good work guys, i should join in soon.
I have been looking at the skinning and there is a prominent feature that is missing. That raised hump on top of the fuselage. it is like having a mustang without that side indentation/scoop.

Yeah! Great to hear. I too noticed that the hump is missing and will add a custom-made one to my build.

I have successfully mastered parts 155 & 169!
It was not as difficult as it seemed but I strongly recommend having a steady hand and a well-lit work space. Here are the pics of the left engine parts 142 - 155 assembly.
(Note: AND AGAIN the pics are not displayed in the correct order even though they had been sequentially numbered and uploaded in the correct order. :curse: The last one is supposed to be the first one.)

UHU must have one hell of a micro scalpel to cut out that wiring/tubing. Mine is larger and it still looks like a very tricky cut. I will definitely break out a fresh blade #11 when i get to it.
@DBK: The cockpit looks GREAT!!! Everything is very clean, and crisp!
@RF: Your start on the engine is GREAT!!!
I just finished one and will be making the other soon. I will post them both once I have finished them.
As for the wiring/tubing, I was able to successfully cut it out and have it look decent.

Well here is my hat as I throw it into the ring. Even though, UHU made an outstanding model, I will make some changes as I build it. One of the first deviations from the plans, will be in the cockpit, starting with the seat. To be able to build the cockpit, it needs a floor. The instructions call for it to be bowed and forced into the slots. Once I laminated the floor, i found out that I could not do that without destroying the framework. I cut it into two sections and it fit perfectly. To help give it stability, I did not attached the bottom when I laminated the top part. The bottom was glued trimmed and glued into place after the floor was fitted into place. By doing this, the floor is held and supported by the bottom part.

The first section, fore of the cockpit is complete. No problems in the build.
The only thing I did slightly different was to laminate the coupling plate of the oxygen tanks up to 560gsm (200+200+160).
I then cut it out without the side pieces and coloured the sides grey. I noticed I didn't cut it out very well.... I might replace it.
