After two years, I have almost completed the mock-up of the Death Star's surface.
As usual, the main material is cardboard.
The attached photos show approximately 2/3 of the entire structure.
I couldn't find a space large enough to assemble it completely.
Ultimately, the dimensions are approximately 10 m2.
The model consists of "tiles" that can be fastened together in any configuration. One tile measures 37x37cm.
The scale is 1:120 - 125. It is difficult to determine.
I will systematically describe how the model was created.
The idea was to build a model from this photo from the film set

During construction, the idea was born to expand this fragment with elements of Death Star II

The scale was determined by this sketch
