Are you involved with the group? This past saturday, after chopping my Christmas tree down, my wife and I swung by Carillon Park in Dayton, OH to find a 0-6-0 operating on their inch & a half scale railroad.
man that is AWESOME,too bad there arent any large scale railroading around here .but im drooling over that big boy and NYC hudson .--josh
You can buy stuff in that scale RTR, but be prepared to open your wallet. Just count on the fact that a locomotive will cost you as much as an automobile (or more). They have quite a bit of track at adobe mountain, and quite a bit of rolling stock amongst the members. I wonder where all the members get that kind of money!
The difference between boy and man is the size of his toys huhh?
Didnt realize I had so much to look forward to!
I love that Bigboy, sure lives up to its name, even in scale.
THAT is cool. I wonder if my homeowner's association rules/regs allow diesel units like those UP's running around my back yard...I'm thinkin' they don't. (Wonder how heavy they are too?)
