swimming loco

That is just a cheap fake made using a MDC 0-6-0 with the slope back tender and some really skillful use of acrylic gloss medium for the water then put through GIMP or photoshop to make it look like an old photo :p :p :p

just like that famous "loch ness monster pic"

this is also a fake using a G scale monster in a small inlet on the loch

I can't get the picture to come up :(

....................In a heavy fog, the bow watch was heard callin'.."Cap'n,, there be ducks off the starb'd bow"... the Captain replied,,"Are they walkin', or are they swimmin' "...."Cap'n, they be swimmin' ".... "Steady as she goes"

Here is one that did not swim. #89, a 2-6-0, destined for the Strasburg RR got caught in an overflow of the Susquehanna River in Wilkes-Barre, PA July 2, 1972. The height of the water went well over the tall smokestack as indicated by the person on top of the engine. Picture by William M. Moedinger.
