Haitians get such a bum wrap. This is refreshing.

The Haitians are really great friendly people. Here is one of my favorite scenes of the guys chatting it up dockside in 1920 Port au Prince.

There's a Haitian guy working up at the Home Depot, he speaks Spanish as well as French, and quite a few other languages. I wonder how many American( I am an American) speak more than one language. I have met an overwhelming, scary amount, who do not. I enjoy reading, and foreign films, and a rudimentary knowledge of another language can really open your eyes.
