Sten MkII. Design Thread.

Well, While i'm working on the unexpectedly insanely complex P-90, I've decided to have a go at something MUCH simpler as well.

The Sten is basicaly a bunch of tubes welded together to form a cheap but effective weapon.

this is about eight hours so far, way quicker than the p90, and I keep finding new and intresting functions in sketchup that help me even more.

mind you, it's about 3cm too long at the moment, and I'm not sure why.

devil is in the detail I am sure judging by the P90 so far this too will be a fantastic model.

Hmmm...perhaps you might consider a Stirling SMG at some point in time. It was my personal weapon during my time in the Canadian Airforce, and gained some fame as the Imperial Stormtroopers sidearm in the Starwars trilogy ( stock folded and the 10 round mag ), twas also often seen in the 007 films.
