Steam fan trip

Ok to go alomg with Mike and Errol heres one from me.
The M.A.T. trots out the venerable 2-8-4 Berkshire of Nickel Plate fame and hooks up a few of the old heavyweight passenger cars for a weekend fan trip.

Funny isn't it Robin. You say "Old 2-8-4" for a fan trip. I would say that the 2-8-4 is too new for my layout.

Looks good though. I remember railfanning near that bridge.

Rory, All the light reflectors are coffee cans cut in half. They even act as a heat sink although these lamps are only 14 watt energy saving lamps.

WOW!

Oh Man Robin! sheer power on sweeping bends and throttle up on the staight ... super duper. The backdrop looks great too.
Must be great having space for gentle curves and long straights.

Good job RR modelling is a lifelong hobby ... I'm thinking of all that space you will have to scenic!
No Robin, we're not gonna settle for huge fields of corn, we will want detail! .
