Star Wars ARC-170 Fighter building

....update:
I had a chance to buy a plastic model of the ARC-fighter these days at a very low price.
I was so happy, but by checking.......something is missing:

So I checked the paper model and found out that both are made in the same scale.
What a fortune.
So missing parts in paper - lets try:

(Picture shows the version before cleaning up - and now I saw that one is built in the wrong way - I will also correct.)

Good job on the paper-replika Arc fighter! The best way to improve your skills is doing what you're doing, take the offered advice, and don't let any model intimidate you. And being here is the best thing, too! Lots of very kind and generous people:)

Fully agreed! Thx for the cheering words.

@ danalor - do not see any other possibility to complete the fighter and a fighter without cannons - no way.

The last 4 pics are showing a plastic model with paper guns. So unfortuantely my skills are not that high.
The arc-170 fighter fully made of paper is a little bit out of shape. With every model I make I get new ideas how to make things better. And by posting pics you will always get tips from experianced people here in the forum.

But I am thinking about making anotherone. I did the same for my drawings. I did a drawing years ago, and then I did the same one again - just to see if there is a difference - and there was a difference.
So thank you again and may the force be with you.

That is one of the best things about this hobby, is that you can rebuild the models that you have already built and make improvements along the way (with very little cost).
Everytime I build a model for the first time, I will build it "AS-IS" (meaning, I would not make it with any add-ons or greebles). Once I finished the initial build, I would have the model completely mapped out and figure out what and how I want to build the next one and what greebles I want to add.
 
I was referring to the whole build thread, as well as other builds I have seen of yours. As for the last four pics, I couldn't tell that the guns were paper because they blend so well with the model.
 
Thx again. I was following your Viper build very closely, and was very impressed by the outcome, and even more by the new Versions (Navi, NASA and Police).
As we seem to have the same interests I am sure we will hear eachother again very soon.
My next Projects: Tie Fighter metal and Star Wars A-wing in paper.
