St. Valentine's day is coming!

St. Valentine's day is only a month away. has anyone got any bright ideas for paper modelling inspired cards/gifts?

To get the ball rolling, here's something I made for my beloved last year:



Unfotunately I decided to make the reverse side first, which came out nice and flat. The front face was consequently a pain to glue into place and ended up a little uneven. Fortunately it was still much appreciated.

Aye, I really like that. I was wondering if that model was available, too.

Yes, I still have it, although I swapped the Blue and Green around and made the plinth plain black. I'll post the pdo so that you can change the textures, size, lines etc

the pdo file is now in the Downloads area, under architecture.

Each colour is arranged on a different sheet, so you could remove the textures altogether and just print the outline onto coloured card.

Well, This is what I came up with this year. It is part of the Stravinsky Fountain near the Pompidou centre in Paris. We spent a few Valentine's days in Paris during our youth.



Now to think-up something for next year
