Another thing that you can do for filling in gaps is "paper putty". Back in 2013, I made a tutorial on "paper putty". Here is the link: http://www.zealot.com/threads/paper-putty.173697/ If you have any questions on the technique, I am more than willing to help you through it.
Thank you very much for the kind words! I am glad that you like both the tutorial and the idea. Actually, I figured that the person that is using it can mix it to his/her needs. That is basically what I do. There have been times where I have needed something really think and really thin for the same model.That was a great thread you offered and the idea had been excellent for quality building!
Did you ever come up with a formula for the best mix of paper dust and glue? Or for the thinning of the glue with water?
