Nice design and Build. I agree, this is so much better than alot of the free models out there, i think he could have made some money with this - the generosity of some members in our hobby forums is heart warming. :thumb:

Prototyping

Here some picture of the prototype, many details changed during the next design process, but you can see how the general steps are validated from Sketchup to the paper model.

She's a beauty Nando! A beautiful model that has captured the Spirit of her bigger sister! :)
 
This model brings daydreams of flying in different eras. I really like when that happens, a gift of a moment of peace.:thumb:
 
Parasol planes had a lot on inherit stability. They were (are) pretty as all heck too!
 
So if I read that right most of the model was fro 160gsm paper (I've got 200 so it should be fine) and the parts in the pdf that state card stock was for 0.5mm card.

Correct ? Or near enough ?

As You can see at this post on my thread at Papermodelers forum, I designed the model considering the tickness of the 160 gsm paper and 0,45 mm cardboard.

200 gsm could be fine also. May be, You have to remove a bit from bulkheads with sandpaper, to fit over the skin.
