Catt

Really been feeling lousy this week. So I desided to mess around with some rolling stock to keep my mind busy.

Here are a couple of before and after pics of one of my Con-Cor autoracks.

The floor conversion kit is made by
Alan Curtis Models
and corrects the wheel base on these cars as well as adding much needed weight.

Very nice work, Catt!
Are my eyes fooling me, or did you remove the "gladhands" or trip pins from the couplers?

No Charlie your eyes aren't fooling you.I have removed the trip pins and plan tomdo all my cars that way.

Catt,
I've thought about doing that too, since I don't use the uncoupling magnets. I like using these bamboo skewer things that I found in the kitchen, to do manual uncoupling.

Yeah, and no trip pins to fowl on turnouts:D

Have four of them done. Today was their first public apperance.I found out real quick that they need some fine tuning:eek:

You know, Catt, I've been so busy with structure building, that my coupler conversions, & other rolling stock projects have really fallen behind.

I put my layout and other projects on hold to get these puppies done for the show last sunday. Now I can get back to some serious layout bangin'.:D
