A lot of members on here have interesting things in their signatures from quotes to links and everything in between. Do you ever give that stuff more than a passing glance? I did and got sidetracked on a whole slew of neat stuff!

Yea, I'm bad about reading them. You never know when you need a good laugh because I have seen some, not on the forum but a trucker's forum that had me down for the count. Plus the nature of someone's signature can give you an idea of what kind of person they are.

Most times they just take up too much space, just like an avatar. If it's more than one line people really ought to think about starting their own web page.

There is a lot of interesting things in most members sig blocks :)

Mine has the e-mag link, my layout's web site, the NARA web site and my tag line letting everyone know what scale, I actually model in... (1:20.3)

Some of that could be condensed, though, right? For example, your modeling scale is probably clearly stated on your web site?

Its all about compromise. We want members to have the chance to express themselves a bit or provide information with their sigs but we don't want them to overwhelm the forum with giant pics or paragraphs of text that appear in every post. That's why we settled on the current size parameters for signatures.

Ralph (Mine only alludes to my recent efforts at freelancing)

One of my favorite quotes I have come across on this site is an anonymous quote used by Tetters. It has to do with living life on the wild side and living each and every day as if it were your last. Care to quote it for us Tetters? ... or give me permission to cut and paste it here?

I hope that no one's offended, but I used the control panel to disable these functions, so I don't see any of the signatures, avatars, etc. I'm sure that I miss some good ones, but I don't have to look at the rest, either. ;):-D:-D:p
