Seen any good structures to Model anywhere

Hehe, this one would be a bit easier to model! :D :D :D
And then you could even run a train between the two pillars (but no track across the bridge :()

Only for the ambitious!

Yep. I was out and about not to long ago and I came to Ipsco iron works. I just had to take a pic or 2. Lots of rail action there. A huge structure to be sure! It could be a layout in itself. Heres the main building.

Scrap for the furnace.

When I first noticed this yard last fall, it was full of old rusting rolling stock of all sorts. The pile was at least 40 to 60 feet high and all the cars looked like they where dumped out of a big box and pilled up every whitch way. Now (that I have a didgital camera) the pile is way smaller.

One they mannaged to save.

On one of the big shops I spotted this oldy someone saved from the furnace. Now an office or a lunch room. (I never heard of Northern Pacific before.)

All in all it was a good day I think. Despite the weather.

Regarding the Harbor Belt Line shot, Russ could very well be correct. I don't remember the exact location. I was poking around the Long Beach harbor that morning and shooting what I could.

Here are some interesting tanks along the side of the now closed AmeriGas office in Troy, AL. Note the old tank car used for a storage tank. Also, you can see the painted out logo of the previous owner, Triangle Energy.
