After a long break I am back to continue this big model.
Next, some of final pieces of the Abside section of the model.

Now, finally the second section is ready. There were missing those small pieces around the tower.

After another long break another small advance with the model. The parts that you can see here are from the Passion Nave.

Another small advance in the construction with some small pieces on the roof and the beginning of the facade.

Here are two modest pictures of this section terminated.

The next section is very similar to this section. Because of that I will only show the pictures when the section will be ready.

Here it is the next ready section. It is the birth area.
You can see that there is one piece from left tower that it’s wrong. I corrected that piece after I took the pictures.

DOMUS La Sagrada Familia Cathedral Model

Hi tino,

This really is a very impressive architecture card model. And you are doing a wonderful job of it.
Did you know that Canon Papercraft has just released a smaller and somewhat simpler model?:

Bengt - I didnt know that Canon has released a model of the sagrada familia.

I already made the download and I cant figure out the scale of the canon model. Someone know?

Some differences that I see are the number of pieces a litle over half the number of the Domus kit and the Canon model its much more "monocromatic" with a less variety of colors.

What the canon model have better are the surrounding stairs inthe entrances of the building and in the instructions have some details of some pieces should be glued.

Hi Gentlemen

I've started to build Canon Sagrada falimilia model in last two weeks. I finished so far middle section with tower of Christ, Virgin Mary and 4 Aphostoles. Now I am building back site with two small chapels. Model is about 30 centimeters high a it is quite complex I thing. "Only" 29 pages compare to 35 of DOMUS, 1st you have to cut all parts, 2nd it is lower than Jesus Moctezma's model, so I count more pieces. (I did not do card modeling over 25 years so I am starting again I would like to do also Domus kit model od Sagrada Familia but I did not find place where to buy it. On Domus shop is sold out and there are just some of other models from DOMUS KIT series. Tino can you advise me where to but Sagrada Familia DOMUS KIT model?
I will post some work in progress pictiures of Canon Sagrada Familia model later. And yes that model is mainly brown with colourfull tops of towers.

Merli - The Domus model is almost 60cm high and pages B4 size like the Halinski models.

Next section will be the Gloria section. This will form the front of the cathedral and it is very similar to the two sections that I build before but it is bigger.
All starts with this big box.

After 4months without any news about the Sagrada Familia. I am back to show a little advance in the construction.

Another advance in this section, with some more pillars and something different from everything else until now in this model.

With this, these section its almost ready.

Here it is another section ready. This section has more differences when compared with the two lateral sections that I made before.
Now I have to build some more things and glue all together.

The last steps before finishing the Sagrada Família.Its the exterior corridors that come together with some more things.
Now I only need to glue everything together to finish the model.
