And my wife DOES support my hobby!
Twelve by twenty four. Feet, that is. It was built Amish style to have more room in the loft area. It has double doors on each end, one of them being five feet wide, the other six feet wide. It needs to be pushed around, so that it will be "square with world." It was kinda fun to watch it being unloaded. I still have to wire it, and install a good set of lights, as the present set up has them way up in the peak of the roof. I do have more outlets, they are on the walls next to the doors.
Yes, it is a dedicated train room. No, I didn't have it custom built, as such. We picked the style, the roof, the number and size of the windows, as well as the number of outlets and light fixtures and the number of doors and the type of doors. It was built in N.C. by a manufacturer of storage buildings. Total cost: $5,575.85.
Yeah, since it's so small, I may have to go to Z scale!
More info and pics to come! Stay tuned!
