Rivarrossi C420 model?

About four years ago I got one of the Rivarossi C420s, and rebuilt the carbody. I needed a high short hood, steam generator, and smoke deflectors, and a repaint.
It runs excellently, and keeps pace with the Atlas RS1s that I have, also in Long Island "flow through" scheme.

Thanks Sumpter. I was at my local hobby shop today, and the owner didn't think much of Rivarrossi diesels. I was thinking of buying the Rivarrossi C420 and repowering it with an Athearn U-boat drive if necessary. It sounds like I can just buy the C420s and save my money.

I had the C420 on the point with the two rs1s at the national train show in St Louis 2001, when one of the Long island Ntrac people stopped by, He was surprised to see anyone running LI.
I have had no problems with the unit I have, hope you enjoy the same.
