Removing Paint From A Caboose

Ok everyone, since you all been helpful to me in the past i am calling on you again LOL. I have a Caboose that i painted awhile back and i want to strip all the paint off and repaint it black and add all the details that i need on it for my Southern Pennsylvania Lines. How would i get all of the paint off?

Hi Matthew,
I have had best results soaking shells in brake fluid or Pine-Sol, then scrubbing them with a stiff tooth brush.
I have found the Pine-Sol will attack the plastic if left in to long.
Wash and rinse the shell well before painting.

Ray that worked well for it. Now all's i have to do is paint it the basic black scheme, detail it, and then put the letters and numbers on it. Thanks again

Brake fluid, Pine Sol and some commercial products like Chamelion are used. It's always good to ask because some methods can ruin a plastic shell or make them brittle.
