Ranger3 from Buck Rogers

I'm a HUGE Buck Rogers fan and have always wanted to build his Raanger3 ship. Its unique and not seen very often.Anyone know of a Ranger3 kit from Buck Rogers? I would look awesome next to the Thunderfighter I'm currently building

So far there is no paper model available yet. It is on my todo list but I still haven't got the time to tackle it yet.

Please keep in mind that R3 is not a regular space shuttle. You can't just take a model of a real one available and turn it into R3. The proportions are too different.

@ThunderChild has been working on a card model of Ranger-3 for quite a while now. However "Real-life" has thrown a spanner into the cog-works for the moment. I recently contacted him and he will be returning to it soon to finish it up. Unfortunately, there is no ETA.

A ton of curves, but.....its looking great!

Thunderchild's model is the epiphany of how you can make a model like that without water forming each panel. It is superb, but be real, while it captures the model, it is missing al the compound curves. This is the limitation of paper, not Thunderchild, I think he could probably make anything he wanted too, but for general distribution, thqat becomes a different story. It would be nice to have him release that though.

I contacted ThunderChild a few weeks ago about this model. He said that he will finish it up and send it to me for a final test. Afterwards, he will release it. I am not certain on the ETA though.

I'm excited, don't take this the wrong way but I won't hold my breath. I understand the amount of work and how life ccan get in the way. That said I'm waiting with baited breath. HAHA!!!
