Picture's with sunshine!

That retaining wall is a Woodland Scenics HO Retaining wall. you know...the one that is made of plaster! :)

It's amazing how realistic it became when hit with a Minwax Walnut colored stain-stick.

The trestle is light-weight balsa wood held together with carpenter's glue, and could withstand a 5 pound lead weight on a 4 truck flatcar.
 
Herc, your pictures are awesome. Artificial light can never be the same. The sunlight shows the beauty of your layout.
 
Thank you very much. The best shots seem to happen with that afternoon light. And the places that still need work really stick out too...which is a good thing to improve the overall layout.
 
Herc, your shots are amazing and very life-like. I had to look very closely to be able to distinguish any artifacts of a Model RR. The biggest one being that the engines and rolling stock looked too new. Otherwise you could have fooled me.
