I tried to find out the former owner of the H-12-44, but sorry no luck. I would guess B+O or C+O???? I really don't know.

Okay... C&O never had any. http://www.thedieselshop.us/FM_H1244.HTML From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FM_H-12-44 310-319 would've had roof overhang. There are still others it could've been.

For rail-fanning you can't beat a digital. This was just a small point and shoot. I would love to have one of those rebels, Just have to save up the $1,000 or so to get one with a few good lenses.

Great pictures! I get out to the Baltimore area at least once a year - the B & O museum is a must see every year. I have a 5 year old grandson there that would live at the museum if he could! It really is a great place and they have made great progress since the roof collapse. It sure is an expensive undertaking to restore the damaged equipment.
