Charlie, Proto2000 makes a 50' steel automobile boxcar with end doors, and Walthers used to make a 50' single sheathed wood car with end doors, as did Model Die Casting - in all three cases, the same car could be had with plain ends, too, so you have to know which are which. I've just recently picked up two of the MDC cars, although the roadnames I chose had plain ends - the LHS has a few with end doors, I think, and, as it's older stock, only $7.98 Cdn. The Walthers cars are out of production, but you can still find them - they come with separate ends, so you can choose end door or not - I saved the extra ends (picked up 8 or 9 undecs at my LHS) and then asked Walthers about buying doors separately for these cars (they're a fairly tall car) so that I could scratchbuilt some cars using the doors and ends. Their reply was that the cars were not likely to be made again, and that no doors were available.
