jeffrey-wimberl,
I do believe you've made a breakthrough with your pictures. These last couple have shown a dramatic difference in quality. Keep experimenting... your making progress.

I gotta agree: lotsa great pictures, folks!! Deano, nice diesels. ;) Jeffrey, TrainNut is right: big improvement! :thumb: Is that from one of your Spacemouse cameras? Nice pictures, Charlie. Is that a car end straightener in your third picture?

Such a disappointment to see historic equipment of the steam era just rusting away!

Actualy, that engine could've just been brown before it was retired to the abandoned siding, ya know... All ya need to do is get some new domes, probably a new boiler, and fix all of the other obviously-broken-and/or missing- parts:mrgreen:

Kurt - It's always great to see a shot of your layout with all of those little details that make all the difference. The electrical boxes, switches, weeds, and I swear those are real green glass insulators on those telephone poles. But I really like that other set of tracks that end at the tree..forgotten and seldom used - but you see something like that everywhere.

Herc, glad you liked my pic . The isolators are painted metallic green – some very good advice from Wayne, as usual :thumb:. You like those abandoned, overgrown tracks too? Somehow they always attracted me.

Wayne, i thought you might like the engines in my last post:winki::mrgreen: .

Charlie, NICE SHOTS of those wood cars:thumb: , VERY UNUSUAL today:winki::smilie: .

Jeffrey, the most recent shots you've taken really look GREAT!:thumb::mrgreen:

Kurt, SLAP AWESOME SHOT!!!:thumb::thumb::thumb::mrgreen: (sorry my friend, but you DON'T have a good excuse not to post a pic in these threads:winki::mrgreen: )

Mark, WOW!!! your diorama REALLY LOOKS GREAT!!:thumb::thumb: the road is FANTASTIC, VERY REAL LOOKING!:bravo: .

Finally back together

For the first time in over a month, the train room is back together. The N scale layout was at the County Fair, a ceiling fan was added, and the walls painted blue. It is nice to be back in the room, and with the fans, it is quite a bit cooler in there.
