Tom, NICE John Deer freight:thumb: . i REALLY LIKE the Cab Forward, the front cab & tender style tells me its an AC-4/5?

MY two AC-12's:mrgreen: , the top one is an Intermountain, the bottom one is a Riverossi i picked up used this year. i have started work detailing the Riverossi, i put new Cal-Scale air pumps on the smoke box(i bought it with one missing), and have a few more brass parts to add on before i repaint it...a slow going project:119: .

Spanky, we see lots of closeups, it's nice to see a wide shot for a change. and nice detail Ralph!
I don't usually post progress pics, but here are some NYC DD Box Cars I've started;
Notice the reference photos. I got quite a few complements on this P&LE box I did recently,
...and I think it's because I finally studied a proto photo.

Raw...Uncut.....No "real world backgrounds".
I changed the flourescents from "kitchen and bath", or "soft white", to ones called "daylight". They are a little bit more pricey, but Man....They sure brighten up a room.

Here on the opposite end of the spectrum is a little bit of fun I got in the mail from my in-laws for my birthday (which is tomorrow). Its the Bachmann Gandy Dancer hand car. The little guys bend up and down while pumping the handle. Its cute and fun for a laugh.

They are from Walther's "HO Scale Roof Top Details" set. Its actually one half, glued to the side of the Pike Stuff engine house.
