Paper beats anything! :-)

Well, single sheets, piled up like that would be far denser than natural wood, though I don't think it would work with "newspaper". ;)
 
As attractive as it is, it must be hard to beat off the tourists. Does paper beat anything!! :biggrin::drinksmile::sticktongue::smoker:
 
is that rice paper? I am still waiting for the plastic paper that could be thermo-d into some curves that they promised. I lived in japan, and they still have rice paper screens, its pretty thick, those little squares. those are the real doors, with the alleyway type corridor as an insulator between the outside and inside screens. been inside the time temples or toki-jinken or shingen toki
, the interlocking wood joints that they use is simply amazing. and they keep them in repair, altho I think I was told most of it lasts 80 years or so. such a rich culture with great effort, even in today's modern world, they come up with this!!
