Overnight in Garahbara Gully

The sounds of crickets and owls can be heard as we arrive, late at night, in Garahbara Gully.

The next morning

The sun warms the chilly wet ground, early the next morning.

Activity begins early in Garahbara Gully. There's freight to be loaded, before going to church.

A local warms himself and his harmonica in the moring sun, waiting for the pub to open.

..... it's back to work.

..... but it's a full day's work has gotta be done at the goods shed.

This just shows what can be done with this great hobby.

Woodie, you have get great realism with these scenes. The lightening is superbe!
The ones I like more are the "night" and the "afternoon" and, the detail of local guy in the porch. I can almost feel the hot air and the dust in the afternoon (and the critter's noises in that aussie night)
It's amazing the results that you can obtain.

bewdy corker Woodie. but no tree frogs?? and I have to agree with the others, the shot of the guy on the porch is really a great 'scene setter'. and the approaching storm so reminds me of the "wet" in Brissie.

and the sounds of tree frogs on a warm tropical night in Queensland, is wonderful - trust me............

Not tree frogs but in the pond behind our house there are hundreds of what we call "PEEPERS" and they make sounds we can hear . Almost like chirps. Quite pleasing on a spring evening
