Here's a couple of pics I took of a short bay-window work caboose that I completed tonight. I was going for a real dilapidated look, as though it's soon heading for the scrapyard.
It was created from an old shorty caboose I had and a flat car. The railings are Athearn loco stantions with copper wire, and I used Boxcar Red paint and some MP decals I had, along with some heavy weathering. I envision this as being the prototype of what MP would later refine to create the numerous short bay window cabooses to populate their line.
