Odessa, MN 1967 Derailment and Subsequent Wreck (pictures)

My grandparents live in Odessa, MN, and while visiting this past weekend I came across a few black and white snaps of a crash that happened there in the 67.. at least the pictures said 1967 on them.

I thought someone here might be interested.

Looks like the whole town came out to see the mess. I would imagine looting becomes a problem after an incident of this nature. I'm still waiting for a "SONY" container to dump over in my front lawn

It happened on a Sunday as everyone was getting out of church. It's a really small town so a person's name would have been mud if they had gone and started stealing from the train!
