NS business train in Oakmont Pa

I made the trip down river tonight and took some photos of the train
I thought some of you may not have seen any yet.
I was impressed with the paint work. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Oh man...!! You gotta be one of God's favourite critters...You actually got to see this, live & in person..?? Is the train on exhibit there, or was it actually going somewhere.?? Lucky you..:thumb:

The train is in Oakmont for the US Open Golf tornament. It will be leaving this Sunday Night from what I have been told. It is parked right on the Main of the Allegheny Valley Railroad, right in the middle of town, and NS personell were very friendly to everyone. Some of the cars are from the Conrail business train. I did ride that one in 1998 when the NS merger was about to happen and We were invited to ride. It was a trip over the Conemaugh line of the PRR that we paralell for 4 miles.

I have heard Chicago, but this is strictly a rumor so do not rely on this information. If I hear anything for sure I will post. I would like to see photos of the cars in better light.
