This is some pictures of my friends layout that we have been working on for the last couple of years. He had never turned a wheel, in HO, but knew he wanted a layout.
I sat down with a pencil and paper, and drew some track. He said can we have a track over here, and one going in there? By the end of the planning stage, my pencil was getting pretty short
Norm and his better half, Cathy have spent hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars to get where they are now. I keep bugging him by telling him that the fun is just starting, he thinks he's done now
Model Railways are never done
We have got the car card and waybill system, just about finished, got some clearances printed up, and are just about to start moving the 100 freight cars around the layout
He has got the Chief DCC going well with about 14 locos running, a few, in permenant consists
