New Post Link - Get rid of other hobbies

Don't know if anyone posted this yet, but here it is again

If you use the "New Posts" link in the top menu, you're probably like me and wanna get rid of all the other hobby forums in the results.

1) Go here: http://forum.zealot.com/profile.php?do=editoptions

2) Scroll all the way down to "Exclude Forums from "Get New Posts"

3) Scroll down the list a little to "RC CARS". Click it to highlight it.

4) Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the list. Now hold the shift key, and click "Testing Forum". This should highlight everything in between.

5) Click Save Changes... Voila!


You can also sorta hide these other hobby forum on the forum index page at http://forum.zealot.com.
Just click the

icon and it'll collapse all those forums. Won't go away totally, but at least they are kinda out of the way now.

And the main url for Gauge forums is http://forum.zealot.com/f6/

Also, if you have the New Post link as your bookmark, update the URL to this:

http://forum.zealot.com/search.php?do=getnew

Also, a couple of other things related to this.....

in addition to...

The "getnew" retrieves any post that you have not personally looked at yet. The "getdaily" retrieves everything posted in the last 24 hours.


I'd also like to introduce you to a new page I've added today, that will help you filter down to your specific interests...

which makes a list of only the forums you add, like a customized forum index.

FWIW, I just logged in automatically (it works again, it works again ) using my old bookmark. No problems, but the above probably will be a little quicker without the redirect.
