In an effort to keep up with the demands of our many online customers CEO of the Grande Valley Railroad Johnathan(Catt) Edwards today announced the purchase of several new boxcars today.

Incidentally, the R&K Railroad, my modest, humble, miniscule little layout has taken delivery of new rolling stock as well. We will also be adding two new locomotives to our fleet, and a few new structures for the yard. These items will be presented to the President of the company (by his lovely wife) during a brief ceremony on Christmas morning.

Is that a kitbash or a model of a real car?

It is 23' long.Kinda reminds me of the Oscar and Piker (Pike?) cars that ran on one truck to negotiate the smallest curves.
