Its been a while since I posted any updates to this thread. Got some track time in and the helix is installed and works GREAT!

I ran my BLI with sound up it pulling 6 new BN coal cars and it looked so damn good, well lets just say I am excited. When I get just a little bit further perhaps a video will be posted. Would you like that, or just pics?

I did more testing tonight and I am very happy with the track so far. I tested the helix with another engine and the answer is still WOW! I am hoping to get more track work done this coming weekend and have a video ready around Sunday. :)

I got to run some trains last night and test out our track work. It went better then expected. I am very happy with it over all and we have very few issues to fix! Thats always good news. Our flip down walk through area worked great and needs only a MINOR adjustment. We also bought one of those cameras for the trains. Perhaps I will be able to make a video soon of the layout with it.

Very cool! I see you have even started on some scenery underneth that second bridge! Hey... gotta start somewhere.
 
Yeah, thought we better do some of it while we could reach it. We cant decide if we want to add water or just keep doing the scenery and leave it dry. Will see. :)

Thanks, keep in mind NOTHING has been added for scenery or even close to completion. I had to post some pics how ever of some of the progress. :)
