My N scale layout...coming along

I use a black cloth insed of a backdrop. It keeps your eyes focused on the scenes and works better when I run trains at night.

Painting fall colors

The mountain was pretty much one shade of green until I bought a bunch of fall colored spray paints. Not perfect, but okay I guess..

I like the night pictures. As for your fall colors, they look great. There's nothing worse, to me, than to look at a layout and see a sea of the same green color. What you've done sort of breaks up the scene and gives it visual interest. From what I can see, your scenery looks like the very beginning of the color changes in the fall. Great job, can't wait to see more.
