I will show you more when I do it.

Patience is something you need to be a good modeler. Some people just slap kits together and wonder why they don't look good. The patient modeler can put a kit together and people will look two or three times and still wonder if it's a kit or a built-up.

Well done Tyler, keep us posted on your progress.

Remember Grandpa's are a great source to learn from, mine taught me many lessons I am now starting to pass to my son.

Cheers,

Give it a good spray of Testors Dull Coat to hide any glue that shows. Covers it well, I dull coat all my structures and most of my cars.

What is your next project?

Do you weather before or after the dull coat? And I have used hairspraiy to seal in the weathering, although I am not 8 yrs. old and did not have to worry about glue showing!

However, for his first building Tyler is doing a great job. I think we will work on a small scratch build shed next. Just to get his little creative juices flowing! LOL

He is finished with the building and now that the posting issue seems to be solved will put up last pictures Monday.

Thank you guys for being so warm and welcoming to a child. I do not want him to get hung up on destructive computer games and violence like that.

Thanks,
David

You are doing fine CPTyler the building looks good. I like Model Power buildings because the assembly instructions are detailed and the parts are not too complicated to assemble.
Now you just have to learn how to weather it with a mixture of some rubbing alcohol and India ink.
I too , like anyone else , have problem posting pictures but we have to give some time to Peter the Administrator to fix that problem. He must have some time for family life too.
