hello everyone---here's some more shots of #4300 taken during a recent photo shoot on Doctor Wayne's EG&E---not much room left on the turntable at Lowbanks
a couple of bridge shots highlight the engineer's side
The turntable is nominally 90', and was built from a block of wood with some girders from an Atlas bridge glued to the sides. The bridge deck is Kappler stripwood applied over a piece of flex track, with handrail stanchions from an Athearn diesel. It's an Armstrong-type (more correctly "finger-strong") with "optical" indexing. :-D
